The bulk of the images on the website dates back to as early as 1900s. Containing more than 4 million photographs, the Africa 24 Media and Camerapix Archive is the largest collection of African images in existence. These images bring an unprecedented edge to the company’s archive that cannot be found anywhere else. It consists of color transparencies and negatives, and black and white prints shot on 35-mm, and 120-mm formats, photographed by Africa´s best ever in photography, the late Mohamed Amin and his principle partner Duncan Willetts.
